A Powerhouse

She struts on the runway with grace and ease as we have never seen! Her poise and exotic Pacific Islander features illuminate and captivate the audience! Heads turn in admiration as she steals the catwalk. Who is this dynamic diva? Agnes Wade is her name. She has a colossal stand of 5 feet 9 inches, and she is nothing less than a powerhouse!
Powerhouse, yes that’s it! The dynamic entrepreneur, model, mentor, and coach Agnes does it all in one breath, while sustaining her marriage and her role as a mom of two!
Wearing all these hats does not limit Agnes though. She still manages to extend herself to the community as an advocate for diversity in the fashion industry. She believes that we should all have a fair chance for inclusion. She demonstrates this with her commitment to programs that foster change for those who are underrepresented.
Born in Bangladesh and spending most of her time in London, England, Wade was given a broad perspective on the world. Her upbringing inspired her to make a difference.
Modeling gave the powerhouse the platform and exposure needed to fulfill her vision. Her modeling experience spans from editorial shoots, runway events, and public speaking engagements. Through her speaking engagements she was able to address the importance of authentic representation in fashion.
Another component that aided Wade’s vision was when she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and finance. Agnes’ message for the youth is for them to educate themselves and to not take no for an answer in any industry. She feels education (in its many forms) is the foundation for any success. The Pacific Islander has been able to influence many with her philosophy; with an Instagram stage of 1 million followers! Her message permeates in our eyes and ears every time we have the privilege to read one of her posts or attend an event.

Agnes Wade is set to launch a limited edition perfume, “Inséparable,” and will be part of the jury selecting the 2025 Face of WOHA Fashion Goddess Icon Model.
